Using the latest 3 & 5 axis high speed CNC machining centres, Rapitypes can produce highly accurate components in the selected target thermo plastic material, direct from CAD data.
High speed CNC machining can also be a solution for low-volume production requirements – if the predicted volumes do not warrant an investment in injection mould tooling, this option can be an attractive alternative.

Our CNC machining facility operates with Delcam Power Mill and we can accept CAD data in IGES, STEP, Pro-Engineer, Rhino and Solid Works. 2D data can be imported as DXF, and DWG and Rapitypes offer a full CAD engineering service for component design and reverse engineering from 2D data, or even from existing parts by laser scanning.
